Save the dates for the Muncie Camera Club Juried Art Show on display at Minnetrista Museum & Gardens starting February 7 in the Indiana Room.

Muncie Camera Club is proud to announce the Muncie Camera Club Juried Art Show at Minnetrista Museum & Gardens featuring photographs from the 2025 Annual Awards Program.

Show dates: Saturday, February 7 - Sunday, April 5.

See the info below on how to view the exhibit in the Indiana Room.

1. Minnetrista Indoor Farmers Markets on February 14 & 21; March 7 & 21, and April 4.

2. While attending meetings or events at Minnetrista. The exhibit is free to view as long as the room isn't in use for a meeting or event.

Juror, David (Kip) Shawger judged the show. Kip retired as Professor Emeritus of Theater Design at Ball State University.

Kip is a passionate photographer and is a member of Professional Photographers of America, the Indianapolis Professional Photographers Guild (member, Board of Directors), and the Daguerre Club of Indiana. A winner of multiple photographic awards, his photographs have been published in magazines and have been exhibited online and in print.

The Muncie Camera Club membership thanks Minnetrista Museum & Gardens and Sebastián Encina for the opportunity to showcase the work of an inspirational group of photographers.

Muncie peeps ... BayLeaf Indian Restaurant is a wonderful addition to the Muncie dining scene. Located in the Village at the corner of Dill & University, there's easy parking on both sides of Dill (metered).

Today I picked up a gift card and while chatting with Yug learned the parking is typically only problematic on Friday and Saturday evenings when they are busiest. I arrived at 11:15 a.m. and easily found a spot (plus eight other spots were open).

The meter is easily accessible, or download the Passport app and pay for parking right from your car or while seated in the restaurant. It's super easy and affordable at only $1.35 per hour for parking. Plus, the app will let you know if the session is running out and needs to be extended.

How much easier can it be to visit BayLeaf? If you are not a fan of curries, all is good, the menu is widely varied and I'm sure you'll find a delightful dish to your liking.
