🌴🇯🇲 That one time you and 18 of your closest friends and family took over JAMAICA! 😂🍹

Let me just tell y’all something… you don’t REALLY know your friends until you spend an entire week with them on an island! 🤣🤣

Over the last 10 years, I’ve planned so many group trips with friends and family, and the memories we’ve made are absolutely PRICELESS! ❤️ The laughs, the adventures, the stories we probably shouldn’t tell 😂… those are memories I’ll cherish forever!

Why do you need a travel agent?! THIS is why. ✈️

This morning, my honeymooners’ first flight was delayed, putting their connection to Cancun at risk. I reached out to them, they didn’t have to reach out to me. I explained my concern and asked if they wanted me to work on changing their flights. They gladly said yes!

While I was on the phone with United, their flight was delayed AGAIN. Now there was no way they would make their connection. With limited options from their departure airport, they were looking at arriving in Cancun at 8 p.m.

That just wasn’t going to work for me! 😂 They’re on their honeymoon, and I wanted them enjoying their first day, not spending it in an airport. 🌴🥂

I kept working with United, and together we found a solution: the LAST TWO seats on an American Airlines flight that gets them to Cancun at 1 p.m., at no additional cost to them! 🙌

The United representative told me my involvement as their travel agent helped make this arrangement possible. Huge thank-you to United for working with me to find the best solution, even when it meant putting them on another airline!

But I wasn’t finished yet. 🧳 I stayed on the line until their bags were moved to the new flight. Meanwhile, my clients were sending me updates that they could see their bags being moved, too. 😂 Then I called their transfer company to update their flight information and make sure their pickup matched their new arrival time.

Having a travel agent means having someone looking out for you before, during, and throughout your trip. Someone who notices a problem, picks up the phone, and follows through on the details.

Now my honeymooners can get back to celebrating, and I can breathe! 💙🌴

Four families are traveling with Carry On Travel this month! ✈️🌴

Two are headed to beautiful Turks & Caicos, and two are off to Mexico! 🇹🇨🇲🇽

For me, booking the trip is just the beginning.

Before my clients leave, I’m reviewing their reservations, helping with online check-in, answering questions, providing travel requirements and important information, and making sure they know exactly what to expect before they ever head to the airport.

And my job doesn’t stop once they arrive. If something comes up while they’re traveling, they know they have someone they can reach out to for help.

That’s the value of working with a travel advisor. You shouldn’t just receive a confirmation number and be on your own. Your advisor should be working for you from the time you book until the time you return home.
