🖤 Think of Dark Universe as horror with training wheels. 👀

If Halloween Horror Nights sounds a little too intense for you, Dark Universe at Epic Universe might be much more your speed.

I’d describe it as HHN lite…VERY lite. 😂 You still get the eerie atmosphere, classic Universal Monsters and creepy characters roaming through Darkmoor, but without the full intensity of a Halloween Horror Nights scare zone.

The attractions, however, can definitely turn things up a notch! 😳

🧟 Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment brings some serious thrills
🐺 Curse of the Werewolf adds a family coaster to the mix
🧛‍♂️ Frankenstein, Dracula, the Wolf Man and other Universal Monsters bring Darkmoor to life
🍽️ Even the food and drinks keep the wonderfully creepy theme going

What I love about Dark Universe is that you can experience that spooky Universal atmosphere year-round without committing to the intensity of HHN.

And if even THIS sounds like too much…I’ll meet you over in Isle of Berk with the dragons. 😂🐉

🌈🍰 **Sometimes you just want your Disney vacation to actually feel like a vacation!**

After a full day walking Disney California Adventure, the last thing I want to do is spend forever waiting for a nighttime show spot. Enter: the **World of Color Dessert Party.** ✨

This is one of my favorite ways to experience World of Color because you get something VERY valuable at the end of a Disney day…

🪑 **A SEAT!** 🙌😂

Instead of standing in a viewing area, you’ll have reserved seating with a great view of the show while enjoying a selection of desserts, cheeses and beverages. 🍰🥂

Is it an extra expense? Yes. But for some families, having a dedicated place to sit, enjoy some treats and watch one of Disneyland Resort’s best nighttime spectaculars is absolutely worth the splurge. ✨

And I am **SO excited for the original World of Color to return in February!** 🌈😭 There’s just something about that original show that hits differently, and seeing it from a Dessert Party seat sounds pretty perfect to me!

I know you want to squeeze EVERY moment out of your Walt Disney World vacation…but hear me when I say: **PLAN A REST DAY!** 👏

My favorite strategy? 2–3 park days, then a day to slow down. And trust me, it’s NOT a wasted Disney day!

💦 Enjoy your resort pool
🎨 Check out resort activities
☕ Grab a specialty coffee or cocktail
🍽️ Try some amazing resort dining
🚤 Resort hop or take a relaxing boat ride
🌴 Or simply do NOTHING—you’re on vacation!

**PLOT TWIST:** We could even plan a split stay! 👀 Go-go-go at the beginning, then finish with a little Disney-style R&R. ✨

Sometimes the best Disney strategy isn’t fitting MORE in—it’s knowing when to slow down. 💕

🎶 **Some Disney experiences just set the mood—and the Dapper Dans are one of them!** ❤️💈

There’s something about walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and hearing that four-part harmony before you even see them. Suddenly, you slow down, stop rushing to the next attraction and just enjoy being in the moment. ✨

And it’s not just the singing! The jokes, audience interaction and perfectly corny humor are part of what makes the Dapper Dans feel so quintessentially Disney. 🥰

But I also love how Disney gives this tradition a seasonal twist! 🎃 During Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, they transform into the **Cadaver Dans** with some spooky tunes and humor.

In a park where it’s SO easy to spend the entire day rushing from one thing to the next, experiences like this are such a good reminder that sometimes the little moments are part of the magic, too. ✨🏰

🎃 Want to feel like you’ve outsmarted the Disney crowds? Here’s one of my favorite strategies. 👀✨

What if I told you to intentionally visit Magic Kingdom on a day it closes at 6 PM?

Crazy, right?! Hear me out. 😂

On party days—like Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party—the early closing can deter guests without party tickets from choosing Magic Kingdom that day. And that can mean lighter crowds and more accomplished before 6 PM! 🙌

Pretty genius, right? 😉

Even if you only have a regular park ticket, your Disney day doesn’t have to end when Magic Kingdom closes to day guests! Head to Disney Springs for dinner, shopping or bowling 🎳, resort hop and scope out where you might stay next, or head back to your own resort for some much-needed pool time. 🌴

There are SO many little strategies that can make a Disney vacation feel easier—and this is exactly where having someone who knows the ins and outs can help. ✨
