A rare Thursday opening! 🍇🍷

We added a tour for **Thursday, September 17 at 10:45 AM**, which means I have a few seats available — and the timing could not be better.

Harvest is starting across Connecticut wine country, and over the next few weeks a LOT of those gorgeous grapes are coming off the vines.

So if you want to see the vineyards when the grapes are **fat, juicy, and hanging everywhere**, NOW is the time. 🍇

Three vineyards. Lunch from Sift. A drink at each stop. Transportation. No planning. No driving. No stress.

Three groups. Two pickup locations. Five states. Three vineyards. Twelve people who started the day as strangers. 🍷🚐

And approximately 700 weddings standing between me and my usual route. 😂

Okay, maybe not 700. But enough that today required a little advance itinerary gymnastics. A few vineyards were closed or closing early for weddings, so we switched things around and made our way to Stonington Vineyards, Jonathan Edwards Winery and Maugle Sierra.

And the day? Chef’s kiss. 🤌☀️🍷

Perfect weather. Lots of wine. MANY bottles coming home with us. 😂 And guests from Connecticut, Maryland, West Virginia, Kansas and Washington, DC who mingled so well that you’d never know they arrived as three separate groups.

This is one of my favorite things about Middle of the Vines. You can book two seats. Or four. Or six. You don’t have to put a whole group together—we’ll take care of that part.

And apparently today we took the name Middle of the Vines very literally. 🌿😂

Wine in your glass, vines all around you, people you didn’t know a few hours ago laughing together—and our gorgeous van waiting to take care of the driving.

This is what a Middle of the Vines day looks like. And we’re pretty damn lucky this gets to be one of the places we spend it. ❤️

Today’s crew: 20s, 30s, 50s and 60s.

Somehow, put seven people on a van, add three Connecticut vineyards, a gorgeous September day and lunch from Sift… and everybody becomes friends. 😂🍷

This is one of my favorite things about Middle of the Vines. You don’t have to come with a big group. You don’t have to know anyone else on the van. And you definitely don’t have to be the same age.

You just have to like a good day.

No planning. No driving. No stress.

I do, however, own a Sharpie.

So here we are. 😂

Is it professional? Debatable.
Does it contain all the important information? Mostly.
Will I drive you around Connecticut vineyards, feed you lunch, buy you drinks and make sure nobody has to figure out who’s driving home?

YES. THAT I AM VERY GOOD AT.

Anyway. Book a wine tour.

Coordinate everyone.

Or… you could just get on the van. 😂🍷

I really do love the vineyards. 🍷

But somewhere along the way, my camera roll became less about the wine and the views and a whole lot more about the people laughing, celebrating, making new friends and having the absolute best day.

So yeah… I think I like the people more. 😂❤️
