Shuck Yeah! 🦪 Nantucket's oyster heritage is as rich as its coastal charm. From the briny depths of Pocomo Meadow to the pristine waters of Wauwinet Harbor, local oyster farms like Pocomo Meadow Oysters and Devils Creek Oysters cultivate some of the finest bivalves around.

While spontaneous oyster sightings on beaches are rare, adventurous souls might spot wild oysters near Pocomo Point or the harbor jetties. For a deeper dive, consider an Oyster Farm Cruise with Nantucket By Water—a two-hour tour offering a behind-the-scenes look at oyster farming, complete with tastings.

Prefer to savor without the sea spray? Local favorites like Cru, SeaGrille, and Sayle’s Seafood serve up fresh, island-grown oysters daily.

For a true farm-to-table experience, book Hang Ten Raw Bar—they harvest oysters ready to order.
