Jessica Fell Davis is a designer and the owner of SOULflowers. Elizabeth Ulrich is the owner of Stockroom Vintage prop rentals and the stylist behind Elizabeth Ulrich Design. As longtime collaborators and friends, we have found similarities in both our passions and our hardships as small-business ladies. When we came together to share our experiences, we felt safe and supported — but most importan

tly, we felt invigorated. We wanted to build the community for which we longed, one without judgment or pretense. We aspired to create a place where we could connect with other creative ladies who share the same fears, obstacles and triumphs. We envisioned an intentional community that would foster meaningful dialogues and value openness over status. We wanted to create a well from which many women, ourselves included, could draw inspiration. Driven by Joseph’s Keller thought that “a candle loses nothing by lighting another candle,” we conceived The Ember Circle, a single flame to set many creative fires alight.
