We've got a build slot that just opened up in our conversion schedule for the year. If you or anyone you know is interested in a van or bus conversion, share this with them or send them our way.

or
3. Don’t plan on getting caught up in minor details

This is a lot of work! Even more being almost 9 months pregnant 😅

Still in love with this layout.

Photo dump of all the projects going on in the bus, from cabinets, paint, and trying to raise a toddler. I think we have been making some progress.

We also painted the kids room and our room, and I’m nervous about it because it is out of my comfort zone! Any color guesses?

We’ve been keeping a secret.

We’ve been keeping a secret.

Would you just look at that! I guess we'll say... Challenge accepted. Stick around to find out what's in store for us with the rest of this build and beyond....

We're done... with demolition on our school bus conversion, finally. And all jokes aside, and truly all in good fun, Chay's bus did look really nice in the end, but please never ever put carpet and drywall in a bus or a van conversion.

We're unloading a lot in this video and as you might be able to tell, for almost 6+ weeks we weren't able to do much of anything on the bus. Good news though, we're finished with demolition. This video covers removing rear engine School bus air intakes, skinning over them to open up a ton of interior space, a rough concept for our skoolie conversion electrical wiring, completing all of our interior furring, and the process we took to open not just 1, but 2 nearly 48" skylights.

We're also not moving away entirely from sponsored content, but we've been and will continue to do less and less as we can (it pays the bills), but the more we're able to rely on income from our van builds and from our wood work, the more we can remove sponsored content from our channels altogether! Help us out!

January photo dump 📸

Working on way too many projects at once while having Isla constantly supervising that we are doing a good job on her new tiny home. Oh yeah, and our first family snow day.

To unexpectedly buying a large bus when we told ourselves we’d never do this again. 😂

Our plans with it(condensed):

-Make it the best space to live in for the 3 of us + the pups
-Venture places when we feel the calling to peace out ✌🏼
-In time, make it a short term rental somewhere.

But we need YOUR HELP! Where would be the perfect place to retire this bus and airbnb it when the time comes?

For 8 months I’ve witnessed pure selflessness and love in its truest form.

And I have to say, It’s been amazing watching my best friend become the greatest mother imaginable while still doing everything in her power to be the give 110% to everyone she knows, no matter where in the world they might be or what they might have going on.

No matter what trail we’re on, national park we’re in, or event we’re at, you never stop being mom. That’s something else you’ve already mastered and it’s been such an awesome experience to see it firsthand.

The dogs and I also appreciate and thank you for you love and care of carrying us around all the time as well.

Happy Mother’s Day. Te amo mucho, mi amor.

Little life update!

We took a little social media break after finishing the van, but there is so much to catch up with you.

First of all our van sold the day after listing it. We’re thinking of going live on YouTube this Monday to tell you more about that.

We also got to spend a few weeks with our friends sharing long work days on both of our rigs, delicious meals, and a good amount of laughs.

Now we’re trying to figure out what our next project is going to be, so we could use some help on ideas and leads. Either way, Isla is not very impressed (swipe to last picture so you can understand)

We are Mariajosé and Chase. We met in Madison, Wisconsin and settled semi-permanently in Nashville, Tennessee. We knew very early on that there was something missing in our lives and on April 6th, 2018 we bought an old school bus from Metropolitan Nashville City Schools and immediately started converting it into a Tiny Home on wheels. It is this labor of love as well as wanderlust that has driven us to pursue this nomadic journey and we invite you along for the ride. Our mission is to introduce you to some of the best people we meet on the road and give you a look into our life in a 250 square foot school bus conversion. If we inspire you along the way that's even better! We post new videos on Thursday and Sunday each week and would love to have you along for the ride! ➾Help Us Continue Creating Content! ➾Support us on Patreon: https://bit.ly/2IlrFLh
