Thought I would use a vain selfie for this post because I’m about to be super vulnerable, and it feels scary.

I took this photo a few days ago before seeing former coworkers I love and respect from my time at the city. I left a team I loved for another opportunity, and then I was let go after six months. I know it is business and life happens. But when it happens to you, as a single mom of three, it feels personal. And it is scary.

With that said, I am so grateful for all of you and for photography. If you or anyone you know needs photos, I am here and ready. Probably more ready than I have ever been. Sometimes life is not what you imagined, so you have to make lemonade out of lemons. Photography is giving me the chance to do that while I look for my next opportunity.

Thank you for your love and support over the years, and especially during times like this. This is why I love social media. We show up for each other.

Watching the new stadium go from groundbreaking to opening day has been so exciting. Last night was a sold-out crowd, with Chattanooga showing up in full support. A true testament to the hard work behind it all. Congrats to all!

For those of you who know me, music is my passion. I actually have a playlist that is 80 hours long titled “Through the Years” which started in 2011 - the year came to the US. One of the two hardest things about leaving Nashville was leaving the music behind. This weekend of bluegrass music with was a dream right here in the middle of MY downtown Chattanooga.

Also - it may or may not be true - that & might be Nashville transplants on the mountain too. Come one, come all! Chattanooga IS the place to be!!
