It's our founder's birthday!

He is celebrating with a very rare Rock Hill Farms single barrel bourbon. Bottled in Kentucky, but we won't hold that against him ;)

What makes Tennessee whiskey Tennessee whiskey? One word: smooth.

But that silky sip didn’t happen by accident—it’s all thanks to the Lincoln County Process.
Before Tennessee whiskey touches a barrel, it takes a charcoal bath—literally. This process filters the raw spirit through sugar maple charcoal, smoothing out harsh flavors and giving Tennessee whiskey its signature mellow character.

Legend has it, this method was taught to Jack Daniel by a formerly enslaved man named Nathan "Nearest" Green, whose legacy lives on in every smooth pour that follows the process today.

This is why folks say Tennessee whiskey isn’t just whiskey—it’s whiskey with manners.

This is the last known photo of President James K. Polk — snapped after he left the White House, just 103 days before cholera claimed him. The man went from commander-in-chief to coffin real quick.

Originally buried at Polk Place, he and his beloved Sarah were later dug up and reburied on the haunted grounds of the Tennessee State Capitol. Because nothing says eternal rest like being moved… twice.

Ghost tours say he's still pacing the grounds — probably wondering why he can’t just stay buried in peace.

🖤✨ Meet Hazel Farris: The Murderous Mummy of Nashville ✨🖤

Once a notorious outlaw from Kentucky, Hazel's life took a dark turn in 1905 when a fight over a new hat led to the tragic shooting of her husband. But the horror didn’t stop there—when police arrived, Hazel unleashed chaos, fatally shooting three neighbors and a deputy before she chugged a lethal mix of arsenic and gasoline to escape capture.

Her body never decomposed, becoming a macabre spectacle displayed for just ten cents in Nashville.

But beware! Legend says if you touch Hazel's hand, you're cursed with bad luck—lost jobs, nightmares, and a haunting presence that follows you home. 😱

After years of being displayed, Hazel was cremated in Nashville, but her spirit is said to roam the streets she once haunted. 👻

👉 Want to uncover the mysteries of Hazel Farris? Join our Nashville's Dark Secrets Murder and True Crime Ghost Tour!
Just be careful—her curse might come along for the ride.

Witnesses reported Torilena May Fields, 32, behaving confrontationally and casting dark magic spells on towns folk just days before the horrific discovery.
