Early fall I attended an ASTA event where several Alaska vendors shared what they do. I left with a few favorites: some delicious chocolate, practical advice I'm already using, and a glacier b**r I'd happily order again.
Alaska often gets described as cold and remote, but the travelers I talk to who go there come back talking about wildlife, glaciers, and adventure they didn't expect. If you've been wanting a trip that feels big and wild, it might be time to take Alaska seriously.
Who has been to Alaska? What did you love most, and what would you tell someone planning their first trip?
