Yesterday I got to tour the Disney Wish, and I have to say, pictures really don’t do it justice.
I’ve helped clients book Disney cruises for years, but there’s something different about seeing the ship in person. Walking through the Grand Hall, exploring the restaurants, checking out the family spaces, and seeing all the little details Disney tucked throughout the ship gave me a whole new appreciation for the experience.
What Disney does so well is create those moments that stick with you long after the vacation is over. It’s the excitement of spotting your favorite character around the ship. It’s watching your kids’ faces light up when they walk into a space themed to Marvel or Star Wars. It’s the Broadway-quality shows, the themed dining experiences, and the little surprises that seem to pop up around every corner.
But something else really stood out to me: the Disney Wish isn’t just for families with kids. There are beautiful adults-only spaces, incredible dining, themed lounges, and plenty of spots to relax and take in the ocean views. If you’re a Disney fan who loves the storytelling, the nostalgia, and the attention to detail, you’ll find yourself smiling just as much as the kids do. In fact, I caught myself stopping more than once just to admire all the details throughout the ship.
As I walked through the Wish, I kept thinking about all the different people who would love this experience. Families making memories together. Couples celebrating a special occasion. Lifelong Disney fans finally checking a Disney cruise off their bucket list.
That’s really what Disney Cruise Line does best. It combines everything people love about Disney with the ease and relaxation of a cruise vacation. After seeing the Disney Wish in person, I can definitely see why so many people come home already planning their next sailing.
