This is an inspiring video message from Sarah Close - it offers something of a ‘look behind the curtain’ into how this industry can operate, which is invaluable for anyone to be aware of. I wish more stories like this were shared, to help prepare people that will inevitably go through it themselves. It’s nothing to be ashamed of, it just sucks. But it’s also a great way to build trust with your fans by being so open!

In other news, another label restructure cut headcount at US label Broken Bow this week and good people lost their jobs. It’s not all photobooths and parties people - good to be aware of the business side of the business. 💪🏻💪🏻

We’re spending the morning listening to Paradisia - a 3-piece making ethereal pop with irresistible romantic 70s undertones.
