The views from Temple Hill have always been worth the walk.

Now, visitors can enjoy them from the new walking paths surrounding the New Temple Visitors’ Center, offering beautiful vistas of the countryside and the Mississippi River Valley beyond.

The Visitors’ Center will be dedicated on June 27, a meaningful date that marks the 24th anniversary of the dedication of the reconstructed Nauvoo Illinois Temple. As Nauvoo continues to welcome visitors from around the world, this new space will offer another opportunity to learn, reflect, and enjoy the beauty of the area.
