Babson United Rugby Club Founded in 1979, "BURC" seeks to promote the wonderful game of rugby and brotherly sportsmanship in a challenging, fun environment.

Babson Rugby is a Club filled with tradition and history. It has developed great rugby players and human beings. Everyone that is a part of BURC will tell you how great it is and the great experiences they had while playing for the club.

‘25 7s Campaign is in the books for our Beavers. 29th was well short of our goal of returning to the Premier Division Final 4. However, there is ZERO SHAME and ZERO QUIT in these guys! We overcame tons of adversity all Spring & could’ve opted for a different path. However, we aren’t built that way…The only D3 team in CRC history to make it to Premier final 4 (3rd in 2024) and the only D3 team to@make a return trip to Premier Division (2025)….Entered at 31st seed but finished at 29th!
Are we HAPPY? No, because we know where we stumbled and much of it was in our control.
Are we PROUD? ABSOLUTELY, not shrinking from a challenge just bc we weren’t fully loaded is enough. However, these very young & inexperienced men RESPONDED to a tough 1st day like seasoned veterans with 2 strong wins.

As a coach, I am equally as proud of this team as I have been of any team I’ve coached.

Onward to D1aa this Fall!

Taking on the giants of college 7s as a D3 program is huge challenge that we are grateful for-Thank you for everyone’s support and sacrifice!!

Babson beavers take on the monumental seven 2025 version thanks to New England Freejacks for hosting yet another amazing event. This is a premier division qualifier for the national championships and the field is filled with powerhouse division, one programs, such as Brown ,Indiana, Michigan, Kutztown, Virginia Tech, Fordham, Umass, UCONN and there’s mighty mighty Babson. As they say it’s not the size of the dog in the fight it’s the size of the fight in the dog… or in this case beaver!!
