What's one place in Wisconsin (or nearby) that every family should visit at least once?

School's out, the days are longer, and this family is ready for a summer full of adventures! From splash-pad days and road trips to playgrounds, ice cream stops, and exploring new places, we've put together our family bucket list of all the fun we're hoping to squeeze into the next few months.

It’s HAPPENING!!

Universal is officially bringing a whole new kind of theme park experience to Texas and honestly, this one looks like a DREAM for families with younger kids. 💥🎢✨

The new Universal Kids Resort is opening in Frisco, Texas and it’s being built completely around immersive, kid-focused lands where little ones can actually play, explore, splash, dance, and interact with their favorite characters.

Did you need another reason to consider a Disney cruise? Let this be it!

Rotational dining is one of the most unique and “only on Disney Cruise Line” experiences, by turning dinner into part of the storytelling instead of just a meal.
On longer sailings, you’ll get to revisit some of the restaurants again, giving you the chance to enjoy favorite dishes or experience the atmosphere in a whole new way.

My favorite dining room restaurant: Animator’s Palate!

The theme is what I'd call “animation comes to life.” One of the coolest parts is how the restaurant “comes alive” during your meal. When you first walk in, the room often feels like a black-and-white animation studio and then, as dinner goes on the magic starts. Screens and walls begin showing Disney animation sequences and characters and artwork transition from sketch to full color. Some ships even have an interactive show with characters like Crush from Finding Nemo.

Family travel has a way of slowing everything down in the best way. It’s sharing snacks in an airport terminal, laughing through map confusion in a new city, watching kids experience something for the very first time, and realizing those little moments become the stories you talk about for years.

It doesn’t have to be perfect to be unforgettable. In fact, it usually isn’t. It’s a little chaotic, a little messy, and completely worth it. International Family Day is a good reminder that some of the most meaningful time together doesn’t come from the “big” milestones, but from the time you simply spend exploring the world together.

On International Family Day, it’s a great reminder that travel isn’t just about where you go—it’s about who you’re with when you get there.

Here’s to more passports stamped, more road trip singalongs, more theme park days, and more memories made together. I figure if you're here on my page, we can consider ourselves family so here's a little bit about me!
