Hey Friends! It’s June and earlier this week I teased a short new series I’ll be doing called “Mamie’s Must-Dos!” To celebrate June (which just so happens to be my birthday month), every Friday this month I’ll be sharing some of my favorite things to do at Disney World!
To kick off this new series, I want to start off with Fireworks Shows!
Something I HAVE to do on each Disney Vacation is watch the Fireworks Shows! The two that I absolutely cannot miss are Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom and Luminous at EPCOT! Happily Ever After is such a sweet experience to share with kiddos and those you love. It’s got something for everyone and the combination of projections, music, lights, and fireworks means there’s something for everyone!
My best tips for watching Happily Ever After-
* Do a dessert party and enjoy VIP viewing! With parties taking place before, during, or after, you have lots of options to choose from and find a time that fits best for your group! See slide 2 for an idea of where the VIP seating is!
* Watch down Main St. USA. The projections from the show reach all the way down towards the front of the park so even watching from the train station will give you an awesome view!
When I’m at EPCOT I cannot miss Luminous! This show is a bit more emotional and will hit grown-ups right in the feels. It combines music, lights, and water fountains to tell the story of the human experience as we go from infancy through all the stages of life and all the people we meet along the way.
My favorite place to watch Luminous is from the Japan pavilion! The Torii gate in front of the show makes for some really cool pictures! See slide 3 and 4 for examples!
If you’re still here reading my rambling about my favorite fireworks shows, THANK YOU! I’m here for all your Disney Vacation planning needs and as always, my planning services are completely free for you!
