Day 🖐🏻: the final day

Woke up in time to do some paper origami - Wyatt and I made tiny roses. After that, we went watch the “Ice Under the Big Top” Show. That was followed by The Price is Right and a final day of Bingo.

After Bingo, we went up to the top deck to play some putt-putt golf at Mariner Dunes. We headed to the Sports Deck for some family ping pong - but then quickly realized we only had about an hour and a half left of competition for the top spot Hider in the Sea Ducks app so we started running around the boat like crazy people hiding ducks to secure the #1 spot.

After all our ducks were hidden, we went to our final dinner at the Main Dining Room and celebrated Kaylie’s 13th birthday.

Before packing up, we did our final count of found ducks aboard this cruise, and we ended with a grand total of 128 DUCKS!

Day 4️⃣ recap:

Cozumel - we docked at Punta Langosta as the sole shipped docked there that day. I was shocked to find out that they only allow ONE boat there per day.

We had tons of fun shopping and getting snacks. Even stopped to take some extra photos with the locals 😉, spotted some wild iguanas while we were eating at Catina Latina, and of course had to stop at the fish spa 🐠.

Once back aboard, we were heading to dinner for Mexican Night/White Night at the Windjammer buffet. After that, we went play Glow in the Dark Putt-Putt at Mariner Dunes. We ended the night hiding and finding ducks. Update: we were up to 105 ducks found last night, and we still have day 🖐️ left!

We are ready (but sad) for our last day!

Day ✌🏻:

Not many pictures were taken 😂

We had a little bunny towel animal. We’re up to finding about 40 ducks, and we’ve hid over 30. We played bingo, AND WYATT WON!

We spent the afternoon in the hot tub and the pool, had dinner at Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, tried to make the “Name that Tune: Country” but missed the first 4 songs (which we would’ve gotten correct).

After that, we walked around what felt like the entire ship, then off to bed we went.

Heading into Day 3️⃣ and ready to see Puerto Costa Maya. Following along as we continue our sailing aboard the Mariner of the Seas 🚢

Day ☝️ Recap:

We boarded the Mariner of the Seas after a short mishap at the parking garage.

Went exploring and found the basketball court and the nearby hammocks & swings, the Cafe Promenade where they serve delicious pizza, the video arcade, Effy where we’ll be getting all our “bells” (will post more about that soon), spent most of our evening enjoying the hot tub by the main pool, ventured to see the Ice Skating, went to dinner in the Main Dining Room, and then finished off the night watching the 70s music performances!

We’re gearing up for Day ✌🏻, and can’t wait to tell you all about it!

We have officially made it to Galveston, and are staying at Harbor House Hotel & Marina at Pier 21.

We had dinner next door at Willie G's Seafood and it was delicious.

Tomorrow we will board Royal’s Mariner of the Seas and set sail for 5 days!
