Walt Disney World just released the dates for their 2026 Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!🎃

This party is my absolute favorite ticketed event at Walt Disney World because of how much there is to see and do for the whole family! It was so much fun dressing up with my husband and kiddo, interacting with the characters while in costume, trick or treating in Magic Kingdom, and seeing my son just light up while watching the Boo To You Halloween Parade!

Event dates include:

AUGUST: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, & 30

SEPTEMBER: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22,
24, 25, 27, & 29

OCTOBER: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16,

The Bayou lounge on the Disney Wish is one of my favorite spaces on the ship. And I’m not just saying that because I’m from New Orleans!

The lounge is gorgeous with its canopy of magnolias along the ceiling and the subtle nod to Mama Odie with the colorful jars acting as light fixtures above the bar. You can even find bronze statues of Tiana and Naveen in their froggy forms near the couches.

Of course, I had to order the beignets with an iced cafe au lait and truthfully I think I prefer them to the OG Cafe Du Monde back home in New Orleans. These beignets are fluffier and just tasted better in my opinion but you’ll need to let me know if you agree or if you think everything tastes better on a Disney Cruise Line vacation.

Most mornings at 7:30am, you can hear Cinderella singing with the songbirds as the stunning chandelier in the Great Hall of the Disney Wish comes to life. It’s little details like this that make Disney Cruise Line so magical! 🚢

🚨✈️If you’re flying today or any time soon, be sure to leave extra time to get through security - even if you have TSA Precheck or CLEAR! 🚨

This was the line this morning at Luis Armstrong International Airport at 5:30am this morning and it took me about 45 minutes to get through with TSA Precheck (compared to the usual 15 minutes). Several major airports around the country are experiencing similar delays so just be sure to pack your patience and leave extra time before your flight.
