Sunday, Sunday... Just got back from a trip to the Canada Rockies. New landscape for sure and beautiful. So many mountains covered with snow, and beautiful trees and wild life.
We visited Lake Louise and Banff and Jasper, and took many beautiful photos which will inspire me in my next paintings.
Summer special this week, an 11x14 print of this painting only $20 . Message me if you would like to have one. My prints are done on watercolor paper and they look like originals.
This is Lake Louise. I painted this a few years ago from a photo of a friend that visited this place. After seeing it with my own eyes, I think is pretty close to what I saw, but I will be painting a new one.

This watercolor is the view from the Algiers Point Levee to the French Quarter, the steeples you see belong to the St. Louis Cathedral. At the time I took this photo, the level of the river was very high, and the trees looked like they were floating in the water.
