When people think of New York City, they usually picture Broadway, Times Square, & the Statue of Liberty.

Those are great, but NYC is also one of my favorite family destinations because there are so many fun experiences beyond the obvious tourist attractions. A few family favorites:

๐Ÿฆ The Museum of Ice Cream, where the exhibits are interactive and yes, there are plenty of sweet treats.

โœˆ๏ธ The Intrepid Museum, where kids (and adults) can explore an aircraft carrier, a submarine, and even see the Space Shuttle Enterprise.

๐Ÿšฒ Rent bikes and spend a morning exploring Central Park. You'll discover playgrounds, hidden paths, bridges, fountains, and some of the best people watching anywhere.

๐Ÿšข Take a Circle Line cruise for incredible skyline views without spending a fortune.

๐ŸŽญ Enjoy dinner and a show at Ellen's Stardust Diner, where your servers are also talented performers.

๐Ÿฆ• Visit the American Museum of Natural History. Even teenagers are impressed by the dinosaur exhibits.
