One of the best Mardi Gras in New Orleans 💜💛💚. Save the date March 4, 2025.
Mardi Gras 2024 was good to Downtown New Orleans.
From Friday, February 2nd to Wednesday, February 14th, over 1 million revelers visited the Downtown Development District to celebrate New Orleans’ favorite holiday in the heart of the Crescent City.
This 2024 figure represents a 1.4% increase in attendance compared to the same major Mardi Gras weekends last year— a metric that correlates with the increasing economic impact of Mardi Gras throughout the city as a whole.
Downtown welcomed its highest volume of visitors on Saturday, February 10th— when over 317,400 tourists, residents, and workers came to the neighborhood to celebrate Carnival Season in style.
DDD is grateful for the spirit, work, and thought behind making the Mardi Gras celebration an unforgettable experience for so many.
