Apparently “continuing education” also means voluntarily paying to have people chase me with chainsaws. 🙃

I went to Halloween Horror Nights as someone who is legitimately afraid of everything — and yes, this reel is TWO MINUTES LONG because I had 15+ minutes of footage to choose from. 😂

And while I may have spent a concerning amount of the night screaming, hiding behind whoever was closest to me, and immediately regretting every decision that led me into another scare zone or haunted house… I GET IT NOW.

HHN is SO much more than just haunted houses. The scare zones, themed food, entertainment, details, atmosphere — the entire event is an experience.

Would I personally like the scare actors to respect my personal space and perhaps give me a courteous 10-foot radius? Absolutely.

Did they? Absolutely not. 💀

But this is exactly why I went. Experiencing these events myself means I can actually prepare my clients for what they’re walking into, help them decide what’s worth prioritizing, and give recommendations based on firsthand experience.

So yes, I suffered for research. 😂

Halloween Horror Nights: terrifying. Unhinged. And somehow… I would absolutely go again. 🎃👻

Another work trip that’s going to be very difficult to explain as “work.” 😂🌎
I’m back at Universal Orlando this week, but this time for continuing education training AND to attend Halloween Horror Nights…because being a travel advisor isn’t just about booking the trip. It’s about actually knowing the destination, staying up to date on what’s changing, and experiencing the things I’m recommending to my clients.

Over the next few days I’ll be learning, touring, asking approximately 700 questions, and of course experiencing HHN firsthand. 🎃👻

Because when you ask me where to stay, whether Express Pass is worth it, how to tackle the parks, or if you should add Halloween Horror Nights to your trip… I want my answer to come from actual experience, not something I read in a Facebook group. 😂

So yes, I’m at Universal again.

Disney can be magical without coming home needing a vacation from your vacation 😅

And as a mom who brings my own girls to Disney all the time, this is one of the biggest things I want other moms to know:

You do not have to do Disney from rope drop to fireworks every single day to “get your money’s worth.”

You don’t have to squeeze in every ride.
You don’t have to book every popular restaurant.
And you definitely don’t have to follow someone else’s perfectly optimized TikTok itinerary.

But here’s the problem: Disney gives you SO many options that figuring out what actually matters for your family can become a full-time job before you ever get there.

That’s exactly why having a travel advisor matters.

My job isn’t just to book your resort and send you on your way. I help you sort through all the noise, figure out what’s actually important to your family, handle the logistics, and put together a plan that makes sense — without trying to cram everything Disney offers into one trip.

Sometimes the best Disney days have a late start.
A long pool break.
A resort afternoon.
A character meal instead of four character lines.
Or simply deciding everyone is DONE and heading back to the room. 😂

When I plan your vacation, I’m looking at your family — your kids’ ages, your priorities, your budget, how you like to vacation, and what’s actually worth your time and money.

Because the goal isn’t to do the most Disney. It’s to actually enjoy your Disney vacation.

And yes, you’re taking your kids to Disney — but you deserve to feel like you’re on vacation too. 🤍

Everyone’s neighbor has an Aunt Susie who “goes to Disney ALL the time” and has very strong opinions about where you should stay and probably everything else about your disney vacation 😂

But here’s the problem: Aunt Susie probably doesn’t know YOUR family. Or has never traveled with your family.

She might tell you to avoid a resort because “the buses are terrible” without mentioning that not all Disney bus resorts operate the same way — or that the things she hates about a resort might not matter to you at all.

Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside are right next to each other, but their size and transportation can make them feel VERY different.

Caribbean Beach has an internal bus loop, but it also has the Skyliner.

Saratoga Springs and Old Key West are huge resorts with multiple stops — but their space, room options and layouts can make a lot of sense for certain families, especially when you’re traveling with a larger family group.

Meanwhile, when I’m traveling with small children and a stroller? My priorities can look completely different.

That’s why there is no blanket “best Disney resort.”

And let’s face it, you can’t just completely avoid the buses without going out of your way or spending extra money 🤑 So I make sure my clients are prepared instead, because the busses are a great and convenient complimentary on site amenity!

When I recommend a resort to my clients, I’m looking at who is traveling, the ages of the children, whether we have grandparents coming, stroller needs, park plans, transportation, resort layout, budget AND what you actually want your vacation to FEEL like.

Because the resort your neighbor swears she’ll never stay at again might be the exact one I’d recommend for you. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Disney planning isn’t one-size-fits-all — and your resort shouldn’t be either.

I will die on this hill: “I don’t want to stay there because it’s a bus resort” is not a good enough reason by itself to choose your Disney resort. 😂🚌

Because WHAT kind of bus situation are we talking about?

One main stop?
An internal loop with multiple stops?
A resort that sometimes shares buses?
A Skyliner or monorail resort where you’ll still need a bus to get certain places?

They are absolutely not the same experience.

And listen, I have done Disney transportation in basically every possible form — including MANY years of folding a double stroller, grabbing two children, park bags, cups and whatever other nonsense we accumulated that day before getting on a bus. 😂

My biggest advice? Don’t choose a resort based on trying to avoid Disney buses altogether.

Chances are, you’re going to use one at some point.

Instead, know what the transportation looks like at YOUR resort and choose one that makes sense for the way your family vacations. And better yet, be prepared for the bus! This includes having a plan for bags/stroller breakdown and who’s in charge of the feral children 🤣

Do you take midday breaks? Have a single stroller or a double stroller? Want easy access to certain parks? Care about being able to walk somewhere? Would an internal bus loop drive you insane? 😂

Those things matter when choosing where to stay.

And this is exactly why my job goes beyond simply booking a room. I help my clients choose the resort that fits their family, priorities, budget + vacation style — and then make sure they know what to expect before they ever get there.

Less figuring it out once you arrive.
More actually enjoying your vacation. ✨

The constant battle over which Disney vacation I love more. 😂

Because put me on a Disney Cruise and I am THRIVING.

Castaway Cay. A chair on the beach. A drink in my hand. The girls living their best lives. Dinner and a show waiting for us later. Everything is right there and somehow Disney has made vacationing with children feel…easy?!

But then put me in Disney World and I’m equally as happy.

Give me the resorts, running to the next ride, the snacks, the characters, the fireworks, the little moments with my girls and that feeling I still get every single time we walk into a park. ✨

They’re completely different vacations — and I genuinely cannot choose between them.

Which is why the answer to “Disney World or Disney Cruise?” will always be:

Yes. 😂
