MY HONEST REVIEW OF HALLOWEEN HORROR NIGHTS… FROM A CERTIFIED CHICKEN! 🐔😂
I avoided Halloween Horror Nights for years, but this year the inevitable happened…my teen sons asked me to visit HHN. EEEK! I was hesitant but…the things you do for your kids, right? LOL

Let me start by saying… I LOVE Universal, but I am NOT the person you want leading the group through Halloween Horror Nights! After doing some research and learning about the “Deathly Afraid” necklace, I felt more prepared to face my fears! Here are my honest thoughts for all my fellow scaredy-cats out there! 👇

THE DEATHLY AFRAID NECKLACE — If you feel the same as me, THIS necklace is something to look into! Universal has offered the Deathly Afraid necklace as an option for guests who want to signal to scare actors that they prefer not to be scared. The necklace lights up, and is magic in the scare zones...THE SCARE ACTORS WAVED instead of jump scaring me! Listen, if a creepy creature waves at me like we're neighbors passing in the driveway, we are OFFICIALLY FRIENDS!

THE HOUSES — I did not try them, but my husband and sons did. They said that the details, the sets, the costumes, the atmosphere were AMAZING! Universal does such an incredible job making everything feel real. BUT knowing something is about to jump out at you does NOT make it any less terrifying! 😭😂

MY FINAL VERDICT: I would do it again for sure!! HHN is an incredible experience, even if you're a scaredy cat! You can appreciate the creativity, enjoy the atmosphere, and have a blast without pretending you're the bravest person in the group. And if a scare actor waves instead of chasing your terrified self… that's a WIN! The shows were amazing and creepy, and the fun does not stop. Lines are short for rides, and food / drink options were great!

Fellow chickens, I need to know… are you brave enough for HHN, or are you waving back at the scare actors from a safe distance like me? 👋🐔🎃

Trust me! Do a last minute trip this year, or less start planning your visit for next year! You will not regret facing your fears!

For our quick weekend getaway, we did not need on-ground perks. We only went to both Halloween parties and one day at Epic Universe. So we decided to try a new resort, Sheraton Vistana Villages! 🏝️✨

You can enjoy the excitement of Orlando during the day and come back to a relaxing resort in the evening. 💖

We really enjoyed staying here! It was super nice and the staff was accommodating and friendly!
