⛲ Ci sono diverse leggende che girano intorno alla meravigliosa Fontana di Trevi a Roma. Una di queste riguarda l'architetto che l'ha progettata, Nicola Salvi. Si dice infatti, che a sinistra di dove è posizionata la fontana, quindi in via della Stamperia, ci fosse la bottega di un barbiere che non andava molto d'accordo con l'architetto.
Il barbiere infatti, non voleva che la fontana fosse costruita, e continuava a criticare e a giudicarne negativamente i lavori.
⚱️Così l'architetto decise di posizionare proprio davanti la sua bottega questo vaso, che gli avrebbe coperto tutta la visuale, sui lavori e sulla futura bellissima fontana.

⛲There are several legends that revolve around the wonderful Trevi Fountain in Rome. One of them concerns the architect who designed it, Nicola Salvi. It is said, in fact, that to the left of where the fountain is located, so in Via della Stamperia, there was the store of a barber who did not get along very well with the architect.
The barber, in fact, did not want the fountain to be built, and continued to criticize and judge negatively the work.

💭 La fine di un viaggio è solo l'inizio di un altro. Bisogna vedere quel che non si è visto, vedere di nuovo quel che si è già visto, vedere in primavera quel che si è visto in estate, vedere di giorno quel che si è visto di notte, con il sole dove la prima volta pioveva, vedere le messi verdi, il frutto maturo, la pietra che ha cambiato posto, l'ombra che non c'era. Bisogna ritornare sui passi già fatti, per ripeterli, e per tracciarvi a fianco nuovi cammini. Bisogna ricominciare il viaggio. Sempre.
❗Proprio di questo parlavo qualche giorno fa con Riccardo, il mio ragazzo. Pensavamo ai viaggi che abbiamo fatto fino ad ora e ci chiedevamo in quali posti volessimo tornare, e siamo arrivati alla conclusione di voler visitare di nuovo praticamente tutti i luoghi in cui siamo stati. E queste parole di Saramago spiegano perfettamente il motivo.
🧭 C'è sempre qualcosa che non riusciamo a vedere per mancanza di tempo e qualcosa che invece vorremmo vedere sotto un'altra luce. Ci piacerebbe tanto, per esempio, tornare in Giappone durante la fioritura dei ciliegi. Questo perché credo che il modo in cui giudichiamo un luogo, dipenda in parte anche da come lo vediamo in quel momento. Per esempio visitare posti nuovi in questo particolare periodo è sicuramente diverso. Le strade vuote, il silenzio, i locali chiusi. Tutto questo ci può tratte in inganno e farci giudicare negativamente magari una bellissima città.
🧳Ricordiamoci quindi di tornare sempre sui nostri passi e di ricominciare il viaggio!

❗ That's what I was talking about a few days ago with Riccardo, my boyfriend. We were thinking about the trips we have made so far and we were wondering which places we wanted to go back to, and we came to the conclusion that we wanted to visit practically all the places we have been to again. And these words of Saramago explain perfectly why.
🧭 There is always something we can't see for lack of time and something we would like to see in a different light. We would love, for example, to return to Japan during the blossoming of the cherry trees. This is because I believe that the way we judge a place partly depends also on how we see it at that moment. For example, visiting new places in this particular period is definitely different. The empty streets, the silence, the closed rooms. All this can mislead us and make us judge negatively maybe a beautiful city.

❓ Lo sapevi?
😨 Perdersi provoca reazioni incontrollate e irrazionali, ma in realtà il nostro modo di agire è dovuto ad alcuni meccanismi psicologici ricorrenti. Questi dipendono da diversi fattori, tra cui l'età e il genere; per esempio infatti, un adulto tende spesso a camminare in maniera incontrollata o a dirigersi verso i confini, mentre i bambini sono più propensi a rimanere nei paraggi.
🧭 Grazie alla nuovo tecnologie, come la geolocalizzazione, orientarci nei viaggi ci risulta molto più semplice e riusciamo a trovare in meno di un minuto la strada per quel ristorante che tutti consigliano, o per un museo o monumento.
🌁 Eppure, io mi sono persa a New York! È stata un'esperienza per un certo senso terrificante, ma mi ha anche reso ancora più consapevole di quanto io ami viaggiare.
📑 Non vi faccio altri spoiler e vi lascio il link nel primo commento per leggere tutta la storia. Questa volta è un articolo molto personale, ma ho voluto condividere quest'esperienza con voi perché per me è stata importante e spero possa ispirarvi in qualche modo.

💭Può sembrare una cosa scontata, o superflua per qualcuno, della serie non importa con chi vado basta che parto. Io invece credo che le persone che ti accompagnano in un viaggio debbano essere davvero persone che ami, e sopratutto persone che sono sulla tua stessa lunghezza d'onda. Non parlo ovviamente di persone che non conosciamo, che magari poi possono rivelarsi dei buoni compagni di viaggio; parlo di persone che ci sono vicine, amici di ogni tipo o anche familiari, perché possono essere persone splendide, ma pessimi compagni di viaggio.

👫 E ovviamente è un fattore soggettivo, può dipendere dalla nostra concezione del viaggio, che può essere godersi una settimana sdraiati sulla spiaggia oppure girare tutto il paese senza sosta per non perdersi niente. Non ce n'è uno giusto e uno sbagliato, semplicemente sono diversi e spesso non compatibili, quindi la persona con una concezione diversa dalla tua potrebbe non farti godere appieno il viaggio, e non goderselo nemmeno lui. Ovviamente essere tutti diversi è una fortuna e una ricchezza e si può certamente arrivare ad un compromesso per poter viaggiare con le persone che amiamo. L'importante è far sapere all'altra persona le proprie intenzioni riguardo il viaggio e scambiarsi delle opinioni, arrivando a qualcosa che vada bene per entrambi. Questo perché se invece si parte senza sapere niente riguardo ciò che si desidera fare, l'aspettativa di un certo tipo di viaggio potrebbe deluderti.

Never go on trips with anyone you do not love.

💭It may seem obvious, or superfluous to someone, of the series no matter who I go with as long as I leave. I, on the other hand, believe that the people who accompany you on a trip should really be people you love, and above all people who are on the same wavelength as you. Obviously I'm not talking about people we don't know, who may turn out to be good travel companions; I'm talking about people who are close to us, friends of all kinds or even family, because they can be wonderful people, but bad travel companions.

👫 And of course it is a subjective factor, it can depend on our conception of the trip, which can be enjoy a week lying on the beach or travel around the country without stopping to not miss anything. There is not one right and one wrong, they are simply different and often not compatible, so the person with a different conception from yours may not make you enjoy the trip, and not enjoy it either. Obviously being all different is a fortune and a wealth and you can certainly come to a compromise to be able to travel with the people you love. The important thing is to let the other person know your intentions about the trip and exchange opinions, arriving at something that works for both of you. This is because if you leave without knowing anything about what you want to do, the expectation of a certain type of travel may disappoint you.

🇮🇹 Isola del Liri è un comune italiano della provincia di Frosinone, nel Lazio.
❓Questo nome particolare deriva dal fatto che il centro storico si è sviluppato su un'isola formata dal fiume Liri.
🏞️ Il fiume, dividendosi in due bracci, forma due cascate di cui la più grande e spettacolare è alta circa 27 metri ed è una delle poche cascate a trovarsi nel centro storico di una città. La seconda cascata è meno vistosa perché il suo salto non è completamente verticale, ma inclinato e per di più le acque vengono captate per alimentare un impianto di produzione elettrica.
🌄Consiglio assolutamente di prendervi una giornata per visitare questa cittadina, che offre una bellissima passeggiata circondati dai colori e dalla natura, con un paesaggio mozzafiato.

❓This particular name derives from the fact that the historical center has developed on an island formed by the river Liri.
🏞️The river, dividing into two arms, forms two waterfalls of which the largest and most spectacular is about 27 meters high and is one of the few waterfalls to be found in the historic center of a city. The second waterfall is less conspicuous because its jump is not completely vertical, but inclined and moreover the waters are captured to power an electrical production plant.
🌄I absolutely recommend you to take a day to visit this town, which offers a beautiful walk surrounded by colors and nature, with a breathtaking landscape.

💡Lo sapevi? (🇬🇧 below)
🗻 Nelle Marche si trovano delle bellissime gole conosciute come il Grand Canyon dei Monti Sibillini.
⛰️ Si tratta di strati di roccia a forma di pinnacoli, privi della loro parte superficiale a causa di una lenta erosione della parte calcarea della montagna, che si è depositata sul terreno creando un lungo ghiaione.
🚶‍♀️Come arrivarci? Attraverso un sentiero di saliscendi che parte dalla diga del lago di Fiastra (frazione di San Lorenzo al Lago). Il percorso non è molto lungo, sono 7 chilometri con un dislivello di 200 metri, e il tempo di percorrenza è di circa un'ora e mezza andata e altrettanto al ritorno poiché è un unico sentiero. È adatto anche ai bambini e si può fare tranquillamente anche in piena estate perché buona parte del percorso è alberato e quindi all'ombra.
👟 Consiglio un abbigliamento sportivo, scarpe comode e una borraccia con l'acqua.

🗻 In the Marche region there are beautiful gorges known as the Grand Canyon of the Sibillini Mountains.
⛰️ These are layers of rock in the shape of pinnacles, deprived of their surface due to a slow erosion of the calcareous part of the mountain, which has deposited on the ground creating a long scree.
🚶‍♀️How to get there? Through a path of ups and downs that starts from the dam of Fiastra Lake (hamlet of San Lorenzo al Lago). The path is not very long, it is 7 kilometers with a difference in altitude of 200 meters, and the travel time is about an hour and a half and the same on the return because it is a single path. It is also suitable for children and can be done quietly even in the middle of summer because a good part of the path is wooded and therefore in the shade.
👟I recommend sportswear, comfortable shoes and a water bottle.

📔In genere pianifico molto i miei viaggi. Cerco di concentrare tutto ciò che quel luogo ha da offrire nei (sempre pochi) giorni che ho a disposizione.
🏞️ Ho imparato, però, a lasciare anche spazio alla vera esplorazione del luogo, a una passeggiata senza meta. Perché sono questi i momenti che dopo anni ti rimangono impressi nella mente;

👸🏽Pocahontas fu una donna nativa americana, figlia di Powhatan, che governava su quasi tutta la Virginia. Quando i coloni inglesi arrivarono in Virginia per costruire degli insediamenti, uno di loro fu catturato dagli uomini di Powhatan, ma Pocahontas lo salvò, guadagnandosi il rispetto dei coloni.
⛵In seguito si sposò con John Rolfe e nel 1615 andarono in Inghilterra, arrivando appunto nel porto di Plymouth, per poi andare a Londra.
