Replacing eggs with plant based alternatives is not rocket science, especially in baking! Here are some suggestions - and a local Whole Foods‘ egg fridge (very few plant based options available as well, tofu also mostly sold out).

🌱✈️ CALLING ALL VEGAN WANDERERS!

Pack your bags for the ultimate European food + culture adventure through THREE incredible capitals!

From Berlin’s edgy vegan scene to Prague’s fairy-tale streets to Vienna’s elegant coffee houses... we’re taking you on a journey that’ll feed your soul (and stomach! 😉)

🇩🇪 Berlin - Mainland Europe’s undisputed vegan capital and number 2 on list of most vegan-friendly cities!

Think plant-based paradise meets street art, history, and pure coolness. Oh, and a fully vegan grocery store!

🇨🇿 Prague: Where medieval magic meets modern vegan vibes! Get ready for cobblestone streets, castle views and some of the world’s best beer 🍺 (yes, there’s a beer bath involved if you feel like it! 🛁). It ranks number 15 on the Hapoycow index

🇦🇹 Vienna: Pure elegance with a vegan twist! We’ll sip local wine grown right in the city (how cool is that?), explore palatial grandeur, and discover why this city is becoming a plant-based powerhouse. HappyCow ranks it #23 (but I personally think it should be ranked higher)

All connected by scenic train rides through the heart of Europe. No rushing, no stress - just pure joy and amazing company!

🌟 LIMITED SPOTS AVAILABLE! This is your sign to finally take that European adventure you’ve been dreaming of... with a crew that shares your values (and love of great food)!

NYC restaurant week update:
While there are only 4 restaurants listed on the NYC Tourism’s website when choosing the “vegan” filter and 5 with the “vegetarian” filter, there might be additional ones - I just realized that ABCV is also part of it again this year but it doesn’t not appear when using those filters.

DIY Müsli mix/overnight oats in an up-cycled container: instead of buying often sugar laden pre-mixed oats/müsli, I prefer to make my own.

I like to mix it up but generally, oats are the most important ingredient.

Today, I used oat, raisins, freeze dried berries, pecans, ground flaxseed, physillium husk, coconut shreds and mushroom powder.

Put everything in a jar - make sure not to overfill it so you can still shake it - and make a portion at night for the next morning or more for the whole week ahead.
I add hot water to it and let that soak overnight - the next morning, I add either a plant yoghurt or some plant milk.

Instead of buying new jars, I like to keep, wash and re-use jars such as this one from a tomato sauce jar.

I also buy many of the ingredients in refillery stores such as .nature.refillery !

What’s a must in your oat mix?

Condé Nast Traveler picked those places as their recommendations in NY, what do you think?
Some are also part of our tours and vegan foodie weekend!

The best vegan restaurants in New York City are proof that eating healthy goes far beyond the realm of sad bean burgers and tofu. Some of the best restaurants in town just also happen to be focused on all things plant-based. You'll find steak-y skewers fire-broiled to a char in Chelsea, “sushi” rolls where you won't even miss the fish in Flatiron, and even five-course tasting menus where squash and sunflower are the culinary stars in Chinatown. http://cntrvlr.co/2UkJJoe
