I went to NYU for FREE and it started in 4th grade. Here’s what nobody told me 👇

Charter schools are PUBLIC schools. No tuition. No test to get in. And they quietly open doors most students never even knew existed.

I’m talking smaller classes. Real relationships with teachers who actually write you recommendation letters. Guidance counselors who know your name AND your dream school.

Mine knew I wanted NYU. He made sure to send every scholarship he came across my way. He also sent me information about various student opportunities that could boost my resume for scholarships and college admissions.

There are even scholarships specifically for charter school students and most families have never heard of them.

That’s not luck. That’s information.

I grew up in charter schools from 4th grade through graduation. My best friend teaches at one in Harlem right now. I know what these schools actually look like from the inside and the opportunities are real.
