A little bit about Alyzza:

With a deep passion for transforming outdoor spaces, I have brought extensive experiences as both a landscape designer and a licensed landscape architect. Over the years, I have crafted a diverse portfolio of innovative and sustainable landscape projects, ranging from residential gardens to large-scale commercial developments. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Bulacan State University—Philippines, and my expertise is complemented by more than 5 years of hands-on experience in the field. Aside from curating beautiful spaces for people to enjoy, I have a deep passion for animals and creating a valuable environment where the two can meet, driven by my belief in creating harmonious spaces that support both natural ecosystems and productive farming practices. Dedicated to blending aesthetics with functionality, I thrive in enhancing agricultural spaces that optimize productivity and sustainability.

The new ENERGY is all about gathering, supporting, creating, connecting and relieving.

Introducing our non profit sector of the farm: Grain Farm, The Bread of Life.

Our microgreens and memories are connected to Mystic Holistic Studios so we decided to still keep the name for our NYS certified nursery. From new team members, to new locations, products, animals & experiences, we’re mostly excited to see everyone on the farm this year.

This fall and winter are filled with upcoming events and new collaborations, welcoming a new opportunity in 2025; our company has gone through multiple seasons of growth and this might be the best one yet.

Thank you for supporting us since our first logo created in 2019. We’re happy to see new supporters and are really looking forward to building our social media family this year.

From an urban farm growing and selling microgreens, to going into agriculture, getting a farm and then opening a storefront, we have built a community of people and animals alongside an organization with team members we only dreamed and prayed for.

Hi Instagram! We know it’s been a while!

Our instagram profile highlights our journey; we started with microgreens in an urban farm during the pandemic, built our clientele and went into agriculture, combined it with a commercial storefront and now have taken all of our experiences and rebranded into a conglomerate, not for profit organization, where our team members, animals and community represent what our Co-Founders, Salwah Khan & Ratul Biswas, have worked towards, since 2019.

Mystic Holistic Studios Inc is our NYS certified nursery; we kept the name for all the memories and microgreens Mystic Holistic Studios introduced to us.

5 years later, we’re rebranding and introducing our non profit: TheGrainFarm. We’re excited to share our products, team members, experiences, classes, new locations but more so looking forward to seeing everyone’s faces on the farm.

From exciting upcoming events to new collaborations, our company has gone through multiple seasons and this might be the best one yet. The ENERGY is about gathering, creating, connecting & relieving.

We loved our recent few guests who came for their bachelorette & stay for their concerts at Bethel Woods!

August 1, 2024:

Presenting our new logo for our Farm brand.

Our first logo, created in 2019, was a peacock on a lotus flower; it was very dear to us and conveyed our minds at the time as well: full of color, intricate details, a world of possibilities.

Four years later, our new logo represents our growth as individuals and as a company. A black and white silo with our soul animal: a logo that represents a farm company where organic grains and luxury living for livestock come together for Agri-tourism experiences that are inclusive for all.

Since the pandemic, the world has gone into a dark place.. or exposed its darkest layers. Death, fascism, genocide, police violence, racism, and worldwide unbearable chaos have made it difficult for us to continue. However, seeing so many strong leaders, speakers and protesters create a space for the rest of us to keep going, is something we must appreciate and work hard to support.

Our journey continues with new farm animals, new team members and new projects for our new farm brand and we will continue to build against all odds to ensure EVERYONE can experience the beauty of farm life in this green yet dark world.

Our black and white silo logo is our rebirth and represents our rejuvenation so let’s start at the basics again: connecting with the natural world and sustainable development.

We feed our left over microgreens to our bunnies to balance their pellet diet and create our own compost using their litter soil :

Experimenting with our tea and coffee flavors!! Our coffee shop aspect of our store is in the works and we are building our menu with our own syrups, ingredients, holistic benefits and unreal taste. Our teas are organic and you can taste the the ingredients unlike watered down teas! If only you all can smell our studio right now!!

When we bought over 81 acres of open pastures and wooded land, we liked to call it OUR FARM. But one can never really OWN nature; you can only have it in your possession while it’s under your name and with that power you can reawaken springs, introduce livestock, create waterways, plant orchards, and implement new methods of permaculture that will only assist in protecting Mother Nature.

OUR farm is YOUR farm and we are excited to share the opportunities we want to provide to everyone who cannot purchase farmland right now and have only dreamt of their own farm living in the city.

OUR CHICKENS ARE PASTURE RAISED NOT FREE RANGE ! blog on the definition, benefits, and comparisons will be posted tomorrow!

Farming has taught us, no matter the fencing, housing or protection you provide for your livestock, wild animals & trespassers will unfortunately find a way to harm your livestock and their shelter (if they really want to). Nonetheless, we decided to utilize our acreage and only have pasture raised chickens who have the freedom to actually live free. We did build a home for them but unfortunately it was ruined by strangers not belonging to our land. We learned from this experience and now we are going stronger than ever to provide a real, LUXURIOUS, FREE, safe environment for all of our animals against all the forces who unfortunately wish to harm them. The harsh realities of being a POC farmer in the states also harms innocent livestock but we will do whatever we can to protect and provide a sanctuary to all animals on our farm, including the wild animals hunted for leisure during all seasons. 🐓🍓🌾🌱🍀🥬🥦💐🐓

The reaction to our recent blogs has been SO HEARTFELT, SUPPORTIVE and encouraging. This picture is from 2021: when we first purchased the land. We were so new to the world of farming. We had no idea what it had in store for us. If you haven’t already read our most recent blog: SELLING THE FARM, we hope you do because we’re sharing what the experience has been like for the past two years. We are the FIRST and ONLY Bangladeshi-American farmers of our age and generation, ever to embark this journey and we promise you it’s a story worth telling.
