It’s National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day! One of my most favorite chocolate chip cookies is at The Plaza Ice Cream Parlor on Main Street. I love ordering the ice cream cookie sandwich! I order it with mint chocolate chip ice cream. It’s a perfect treat to indulge in when you want a sweet treat at Magic Kingdom!

Happy National Waterpark Day! Disney has two waterparks: Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach. Both are super fun, especially on the really hot days! We love them so much that we added the waterparks on to our annual passes! And during the summer you can experience the Waterpark on the day you arrive. It’s complimentary if staying at a Disney resort (limited dates for the summer)!

In less than 2 days now we will be back at Disney’s Port Orleans Riverside resort where right now the only thing on the agenda is morning walks to French Quarter for beignets and coffee!

It’s hard to believe how fast time goes until you have a child who is graduating from high school! I am grateful for every visit to Disney with Julia. While I know there will be many more times at Disney I am so happy that we had all these magical times together!

Happy Earth Day! Did you know that at Animal Kingdom you can get a closer look at the elephants and learn more about them? It is an experience called Caring for Giants. Space is limited so you should book in advance, and it is an extra cost. If you love elephants it is a truly wonderful experience. I did the tour with my daughter a few years ago on Earth Day and we loved the experience.

It’s National Margarita Day! One of my favorite places in Disney Springs to get a margarita is Frontera Cocina. It is one of my hidden gems to recommend to clients. Great margaritas and delicious food make for a wonderful dining experience.

It’s National Winnie the Pooh Day! It’s celebrated today in honor of the author A.A. Milne who created the lovable bear. The best place to visit Winnie the Pooh and all his friends is at The Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom! You can go for breakfast, lunch or dinner but breakfast is my favorite! We went the day after we got married because my husband loves Winnie the Pooh! TIP: They serve Mickey churro waffles which are so delicious!

It’s National Buffet Day! A hidden gem at Disney World is dinner at Cape May Cafe. It is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort. The dinner is a buffet inspired by the cuisine of the New England Coast. It is a favorite of my family!

Happy National Sangria Day: The first date I had with my husband he was holding Sangria when I met him. Every year on the anniversary of when we met we go out and order Sangria. This year we went to Capa . We started off our evening with a lovely Sangria. Capa is located at The Four Seasons Orlando which is located within the Disney World area, and if you are looking for a special place to dine you will want to make a reservation! The setting, the food and the Sangria are all magical! nationalsangriaday

The holidays are always an extra magical time at Disney. The Candlelight Processional is a beautiful experience where a celebrity narrator tells the story of Christmas. Last night we went and Gary Sinise was the narrator. It was an amazing evening, made extra special by having Gary Sinise as the narrator who does so much good for so many!
