The final stretch of our Into the Wild journey somehow managed to outdo itself at every turn. 🏜️
From the vast canyons and iconic Mesa Arch of Canyonlands National Park, we made our way to Moab, where the Colorado River wound beneath towering red mesas and some truly spectacular sunsets. From there, it was on to Arches National Park, exploring a landscape of sandstone arches and formations sculpted over millions of years.
Next came Monument Valley, where our group joined a Navajo guide for a journey through its extraordinary maze of mesas and buttes, learning about the landscape and the meaning it holds for the Navajo people. We crossed from Utah into Arizona just in time to watch the sky light up over Horseshoe Bend.
Then, into another world entirely: Upper Antelope Canyon. ✨ Layers of sandstone, carved by wind and water, seemed to shift from orange and gold to pink and purple as sunlight filtered through the canyon above.
And finally, the Grand Canyon. A fitting finale to an adventure that has taken us through some of the most extraordinary landscapes in the American West. Standing at its edge, surrounded by millions of years of geological history, it’s hard not to be reminded just how much wonder exists right here in our own backyard.
