Cabin is located near several lakes, one at the end of the road (Toronto), a 5 minute walk, one a short 1 mile drive or by bike (Superior Park), both good for swimming, boating, fishing, hiking and picnicking and X-country skiing & Ice skating. Several parks with tables and grills available.
White Lake is 2 miles for boat rentals, jet skiing in Summer. Superior Park, 1 mile from house, has paddle boat rentals. All lakes are excellent for x-country skiing in the winter. Cabin has a screened in porch, closed in the winter, front yard hammock and picnic table, grill and outdoor furniture until December or first snow. No houses close by for privacy, quiet road.
5 mi from Bethel Woods Performing Arts Center & Museum, 8 Miles from Monticello, Big M Gaming Casino, Nightclub entertainment, shopping, movies, restaurants. 2 mi to White Lake for dining, music clubs, jet ski & Power Boat rentals. Weekend Rental: (Fri noon-Sun Eve) $250- Extra night,$100. Week Long (Fri-Fri) $600. Minimum Rental $250. Area is great for antiquing, biking and white water rafting. There is 24 hour Walmart and Shoprite. Great for doing absolutely nothing too! If you want to go nowhere, cabin is quiet and a 5 minute walk from the Toronto Lake at the end of the road, or just sit in the yard and read a book or sit in front of the fire. Dogs are welcome. We enjoyed our peaceful stay in this charming and cozy cabin in the woods. The area is simply beautiful. Our dog loved exploring the woods, swimming in the lakes and having a chance to get out of the city. The property description and photos were accurate, the property was clean and well-maintained, the owner provided a thorough explanation of nearby activities, attractions and restaurants and was available to answer any questions we might have. We would most definitely recommend this property to a friend or relative. Recommended for: Age 525+, pet owners, romantic getaway.
