Founded in 1914, the Centre des Monuments Nationaux cares for over 100 historic sites across France, from archeological sites to royal castles to UNESCO World Heritage sites. 🏰

Part of this network includes the Panthéon monument, where Josephine Baker is commemorated. Born in St. Louis, Missouri, she was a Resistance member and civil rights advocate. Eguisheim: France’s fairytale Village 🌟✨

Did you know this village is built in perfect circles?

Unlike most medieval villages, Eguishem was designed around a central castle, creating its unique circular streets that you can still wonder through today.

💮 With colorful half-timbered houses, flower-covered balconies, and cobblestone streets, Eguishem feels like stepping into a real-life fairytale.

🚲 Bike through the scenic routes of the countryside, browse the artisan shops, or take a free guided tour of the city. Eguisheim is also known for being the birthplace of a Pope: visit the St-Leon Chapel, named after him, a neo-roman style monument with a rich history.

🍷 Take your time wandering through its tiny lanes, stop for a glass of local Alsace wine and a warm pretzel, and admire one of the most Instagram-able villages in France.

Located just a few minutes from Colmar, it’s an easy day trip and a must for anyone exploring the Alsace Wine Route.

🏰Montbéliard: A French Town with Royal Connections Across Europe

Montbéliard only became part of France during the French Revolution in 1793.🇫🇷

⌛ Overlooking the town, the Château des Ducs de Wurtemberg formely used as a military until 1933 it now houses a museum with more than 500,000 objects, retracing nearly 30 million years of history.

🚶 Wander through the colorful streets of Montbéliard, where French and German influences meet, and discover a destination unlike any other in France.

🧀 Food lovers won't want to miss the famous Saucisse de Montbéliard and Comté cheese, two local specialties that perfectly capture the flavors of the region.
