Miss Nepal US (A) is a grand beauty pageant for the young Nepali girls of age group 18 – 26 across the USA. The pageant is aimed at inculcating in the Nepali community, a sense of connectedness through an event that celebrates cultural heritage of Nepal and rewards talent, intelligence and beauty. The applications for the “Miss Nepal US (A) 2012 Pageant" is to be submitted within May 15th, 2011. The application can also be submitted through online or mail. The participants for this mega-event will be selected through auditioning at ten major cities of USA: Washington D.C. (July 2nd and 3rd), Boston (July 9th), Atlanta (July 10th), New York City (July15th), Chicago (July 16th), Minneapolis (July 17th), Denver (July 23rd), Dallas (July 24th), Seattle (July 30th) and Los Angeles (July 31st). The short listed
selected contestants (semifinalist) will have an opportunity to receive extensive trainings in personal development and interpersonal skills while working closely with established personnel like Sugarika K.C. (Miss Nepal-2005) & Sharon Sherpa (Miss Nepal Beautiful-1996) from a wide spectrum. The training will be held from August 12th to August 19th 2011 in New York. The grand final event will be held on August 20th, 2011 in New York, USA on the special occasion of Nepal Tourism Year 2011. It will be the great blend of Nepali and Western art, culture, fashion and beauty. The final event will see 30 fascinating young ladies representing their age group across USA to compete for the coveted title of Miss Nepal USA 2011.
