¡DATO CURIOSO.
Esta foto fue tomada a casi 15 kilómetros de altura sobre el mar de Irlanda en abril de 1985.
Se trata del avión comercial supersónico 'Concorde', volando a velocidad de Mach 2, es decir, 2 veces la velocidad del sonido o 2170 millas por hora aproximadamente.
Un pequeño avión caza se le acercó en vuelo y lo acompañó durante 4 minutos a igual velocidad, y entonces el piloto del caza tomó la fotografía, siendo hasta hoy la única imagen del 'Concorde' volando a tal rapidez.
Al fondo el Sol brillando, y a esa altura el cielo ya adopta una tonalidad más oscura aún en pleno día, debido a la disminución de la densidad del aire.
Incluso, ya puede apreciarse también la curvatura de la Tierra a esa altura.
