বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শিক্ষক নেটওয়ার্কের পেইজ থেকেঃ
আজ ২৭শে জুলাই, শনিবার আমরা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শিক্ষক নেটওয়ার্কের প্রতিনিধি হিসেবে ১২ জন শিক্ষক মিন্টো রোডের ডিবি অফিসে যাই। আমরা গিয়েছিলাম ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের তিনজন ছাত্র নাহিদ ইসলাম, আসিফ মাহমুদ ও আবু বাকের মজুমদারের অবস্থা জানার জন্য, যাদের গতকাল হাসপাতাল থেকে চিকিৎসারত অবস্থায় সংশ্লিষ্ট চিকিৎসকের ইচ্ছার বিরুদ্ধে উঠিয়ে আনা হয়েছে। আমরা যেহেতু তাদের শিক্ষক, স্বাভাবিকভাবেই আমরা এই শিক্ষার্থীদের নিয়ে উদ্বিগ্ন। তারা কোথায় আছে, কেমন আছে তা জানাটাই ছিলো আমাদের মূল উদ্দেশ্য।
কিন্তু আমাদের ১২ জন শিক্ষকের কাউকেই ডিবি অফিসের ভেতরে ঢুকতে দেয়া হয় নাই। রিসিপশন থেকে আমাদের জানানো হয় যে এই বিষয়ে কথা বলতে গেলে ডিবি প্রধান মোহাম্মদ হারুন অর রশীদের সাথে কথা বলতে হবে এবং শুধুমাত্র তাঁর অনুমতি পেলেই আমরা ভেতরে যেতে পারব। আমাদের এও জানানো হয় যে ডিবি প্রধান অনেকক্ষণ থাকবেন, তাই কোন তাড়া নেই। বেশ কিছুক্ষণ অপেক্ষা করবার পর ডিবি প্রধানের অফিস থেকে আমাদের জানানো হয় তিনি আজ আমাদের সাথে কথা বলতে পারবেন না কারণ তিনি এখন বের হয়ে যাচ্ছেন।
ডিবি প্রধান আমাদের সাথে কথা বলবেন না এটা জানার পর আমরা অন্য কোনো অফিসারের সাথে কথা বলার চেষ্টা করি। তারা বলেন কথা বলার সেরকম আর কেউ নেই, কথা বলতে গেলে তার সাথেই কথা বলতে হবে। এরকম একটা গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অফিসে জরুরি বিষয়ে আলাপ করার জন্য দ্বিতীয় কোনো ব্যক্তি থাকবে না এটা আমাদের কাছে গ্রহণযোগ্য মনে হয়নি। এর কিছুক্ষণ পরেই ডিবি অফিসের প্রধান ফটকের পাশে দায়িত্বরত পুলিশ সদস্য মারফৎ আমরা জানতে পারি ডিবি প্রধান গাড়ী নিয়ে আমাদের সামনে দিয়েই বের হয়ে গেছেন।
আমরা ১২ জন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের শিক্ষক ডিবি প্রধানের সাথে আজকে কোন সামাজিক দেখা সাক্ষাৎ করতে যাই নাই। গিয়েছিলাম একটি জরুরী এবং গুরুতর প্রয়োজনে। আমাদের সাথে সাক্ষাৎ না করাটা তাঁর দায়িত্বের গুরুতর অবহেলা বলে আমরা মনে করি। সেই সাথে তাঁর এই আচরণ অত্যন্ত অসৌজন্যমূলক এবং অপমানজনকও মনে করি।
প্রসঙ্গত উল্লেখ্য যে ডিবি প্রধান সাংবাদিক সম্মেলনে আজকেই এই তিনজন ছাত্রকে ধরে আনার কারণ উল্লেখ করেছেন। তিনি বলেছেন যে এই তিনজন ছাত্র নিরাপত্তাহীনতায় ভুগছে। তাঁদের নিরাপত্তা দেয়ার জন্য ডিবি অফিসে নিয়ে আসা হয়েছে।
আমরা এর আগে কখনো শুনি নি যে হাসপাতাল থেকে উঠিয়ে আহত কাউকে নিরাপত্তা দেয়ার জন্য ইচ্ছার বিরুদ্ধে ধরে এনে ডিবি অফিসে রাখা হয়। পত্র পত্রিকার বর্ণনা অনুযায়ী এই ছাত্রদের নিরাপত্তার নামে জোর করে নিয়ে আসার সময় পোশাক পরিবর্তন করারও সময় দেয়া হয় নাই। সেই সময় ছাত্ররা ভয়ে থর থর করে কাঁপছিলো।
পুরো বিষয়টি কোন ধরনের নিরাপত্তা দেয়ার জন্য করা হচ্ছে তা সহজেই অনুমেয়। তার উপরে তিনজনের মধ্যে দু'জন ছাত্র, নাহিদ এবং আসিফকে কিছুদিন আগেও ধরে নিয়ে গিয়ে অমানুষিক নির্যাতন করা হয়েছে, ইঞ্জেকশন দিয়ে ঘুম পাড়িয়ে রাখা হয়েছে বলে পত্রিকায় প্রকাশিত হয়েছে। এখন হাসপাতালে চিকিৎসারত অবস্থা থেকে দ্বিতীয়বার ধরে নিয়ে গেলে তাঁদের প্রাণশংকা হওয়াটা অস্বাভাবিক নয়।
ডিবি বা আইন শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষাকারী বাহিনীর এ ধরনের বল প্রয়োগের তৎপরতা সামগ্রিকভাবেই জনমনে ভীতি সঞ্চার করছে। যা সুষ্ঠু ও স্বাভাবিক পরিস্থিতি সৃষ্টির অন্তরায় বলে আমরা মনে করি।
পুলিশ বা নিরাপত্তা বাহিনীকে আমরা জনগণের সেবক হিসেবে দেখতে চাই। কোন নির্যাতনের হাতিয়ার নয়। তাই আমাদের দাবী অবিলম্বে এই তিনজন ছাত্রকে নিরাপত্তা দেয়ার প্রহসন বন্ধ করে তাঁদের পরিবারের কাছে অথবা তাঁদের নিজেদের সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী নিরাপদ স্থানে যেতে দেয়া হোক।

ছাত্র হত্যার প্রতিবাদে জার্মানির ফ্রাঙ্কফুর্টে বিশাল সমাবেশ
হাবিবুল্লাহ আল বাহার, জার্মানি: বাংলাদেশে চলমান আন্দোলনকারী শিক্ষার্থীদের উপর নির্বিচারে হামলা চালিয়ে শতাধিক মানুষ হত্যার প্রতিবাদে জার্মানির ফ্রাঙ্কফুর্টে বিশাল মানববন্ধন করেছে প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিরা। জার্মানির বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অধ্যয়নরত বাংলাদেশি শিক্ষার্থী এবং বিপুল সংখ্যক প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিরা একত্রিত হয়ে বাংলাদেশে চলমান ছাত্র আন্দোলনের সাথে একাত্মতা প্রকাশ করেন। বিপুল সংখ্যক শিক্ষার্থী ছাড়াও বিভিন্ন শ্রেণী পেশার মানুষ এই প্রতিবাদ সভায় অংশগ্রহণ করেন।
শনিবার (২০ জুলাই) ফ্রাঙ্কফুর্টের হাউপটবাখেতে বিকেল চারটায় পূর্বঘোষিত কর্মসূচী শুরু হওয়ার আগেই কয়েকশ শিক্ষার্থী জড়ো হয়ে স্লোগানে স্লোগানে পুরো এলাকা প্রকম্পিত করে তোলেন। পরে সমাবেশস্থটি কানায় কানায় পূর্ণ হয়ে একটি গন সমাবেশে রুপ নেয় এবং জাতীয় সঙ্গীতের মাধ্যমে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে শুরু করা হয়। চলমান আন্দোলনে নিহতদের ছবি সংবলিত পোস্টার, প্ল্যাকার্ড, ব্যানার, ফেস্টুন প্রদর্শন করে এবং জাতীয় পতাকা উড়িয়ে স্লোগানে স্লোগানে মুখরিত এই প্রতিবাদ সভা থেকে অবিলম্বে ছাত্রদের উপর হামলা এবং হত্যাকাণ্ড বন্ধ করার জোর দাবী জানান জার্মানির বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অধ্যয়নরত বাংলাদেশি শিক্ষার্থী এবং প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশিরা।
সমাবেশে সাধারন শিক্ষার্থীদের পাশাপাশি চলমান আন্দোলনের সাথে একাত্মতা ঘোষণা করে বক্তব্য রাখেন বীর মুক্তিযোদ্ধা, স্থানীয় প্রবাসী বাংলাদেশি কমিউনিটির নেতৃবৃন্দ, ব্যবসায়ি, সাংবাদিক সহ বিভিন্ন শ্রেণী পেশার মানুষ। এছাড়াও সমাবেশে জার্মান বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ছাত্র সংসদের প্রতিনিধিরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন এবং বাংলাদেশের চলমান হত্যাকাণ্ড বন্ধ করে মানবাধিকার প্রতিষ্ঠার তাগিদ দেন।
স্লোগানে স্লোগানে মুখরিত এই প্রতিবাদ সমাবেশ থেকে বাংলাদেশে আন্দোলনকারী শিক্ষার্থীদের উপর গণহত্যা চালানো হয়েছে বলে তাঁরা বক্তব্য দেন এবং অবিলম্বে হামলাকারী এবং হামলার হুকুমদাতাদের আন্তর্জাতিক আদালনে বিচারের দাবী জানান। বাংলাদেশে ইন্টারনেট এবং সকল যোগাযোগ মাধ্যম বন্ধ করে দেওয়ার তীব্র প্রতিবাদ জানান তাঁরা। এছাড়াও আন্দোলনকারীদের বিরুদ্ধে আনা সকল মিথ্যা মামলা প্রত্যাহার এবং সেনাবাহিনী প্রত্যাহারের দাবী জানান।
