For today's Restaurant Review I went a little bit off the highway 101 when I paid a visit to Homestyle Hawaiian. It’s located on the North side of Oceanside Blvd just east of Highway 5. Today I visited Carmine’s Pizza in Oceanside for lunch, which is located on Highway 101 just south of Mission Ave. Carmine’s set up and interior reminded me of neighborhood pizzerias in the northeast. Especially with Sinatra playing on the radio. They have plenty of seating indoors and the small outdoor patio provides additional seating as well. Their menu offerings consist of specialty pizza’s, Calzones, salads, pastas and sub sandwiches. [ 200 more words ]

The Bagby Beer Company is both brewery and restaurant located right on the 101 in Oceanside. The building is a massive new construction that once was home to a car dealership. It is a multilevel, open space design with at least three bars, a tasting room and a restaurant. Bagby Beer Company was opened by a veteran brewer who appears to have spared no expense.
