🔍For 10 years, librarians, archivists, and scholars have been working as detectives to solve a bookish mystery in the archives of Schomburg Center .

📚  Piece by piece, the team reconstructed Arturo Schomburg’s original collection of 4,600 items, purchased by the The New York Public Library in 1926. You can see their discoveries in the centennial exhibition: "To Uncover and Reveal to the World: Arturo Schomburg's Library", on view at The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture
