Today we entered a portal to Rwanda! It was amazing to share a meal with a group of Rwandans, discussing our cultural simialrities and differences. Tgeir perspective was extremely refreshing. Such an amazing example of a country leading by example 20 years after civil war and genocide that claimed nearly 1 million lives. Based on today's conversation, the Rwanda of today is focused on progress.

We've done three great events at David's Brisket House in Bed Stuy with more on the way this fall. All money raised went to HIAS, a great organization that helps displaced people find homes.
