The perfect bun with three patties, cheese, over easy egg and thick slice of bacon from 📍Au Cheval ⠀⠀⠀
I’ve been to the first and original location in Chicago a few years ago, and I’ve also been to 4 Charles Ribs (same chef) and I’m very happy to know that I don’t have to go to Chicago or wait months for a reservation at 4 Charles to eat one of the best burger I’ve ever had! ⠀⠀⠀

Roasted lamb and rice ($23) from my new favorite restaurant in Astoria 📍Lokanta

Lokanta is a small Turkish restaurant on Broadway with the most delicious food and an amazing array of options on the menu.

⠀⠀⠀
Besides the lamb with rice (my favorite) we also ordered homemade hummus ($4) and the manti ($21) a classic Turkish dish - beef dumplings with yogurt sauce.

For dessert, we had butternut squash with whipped cream - sounds weird but it was awesome! Oh also, it’s BYOB 😜

I can’t wait to go back, it was incredible!

Hi everyone, my name is Camilli and welcome to my blog! Here is a little background on myself and blog.

I lived in Brazil for most of my life, and decided to move to the US in 2015, in the middle of my college career. I came here with the intention of learning English and moving back to Brazil. I initially moved to Orlando, Florida, but I wasn't happy and I wanted to live somewhere more exciting. I decided to move to the city of my dreams, NEW YORK. I didn't know anyone here when I first moved, I didn't have a job or any concrete plans, but I wanted to follow my dream. Fast forward 3 years later and today, I am happy to call New York my permanent home.

I love learning about new cultures and languages.

While Portuguese is my native language, I speak Spanish and English fluently, and more recently have been learning Italian, Arabic and French.

Eat, Travel and Love started initially on Instagram in 2017, where I solely posted about food, but then my passion for traveling took me to a ton of new places, and so I began posting about all the cool places I’ve been to. My husband is a great partner in this journey, who travels with me everywhere and is an important part of the experiences I share with you.

Today I’ll teach you a HUGE trick 😂
Swipe ➡️ to see the before of this pic 🧐. The apps I used to edit this pic was Retouch to remove the cracks on the wall, Photoshop Fix to make the wall whiter and Lightroom to make the whole pic brighter.

Retouch was a paid app ($2.99) but Photoshop Fix and Lightroom are completely free - and you can also remove objects with Photoshop Fix.

Many people sell presets for Lightroom but I don’t think they’re worth it. Just play around with it and save the settings you like the most!
