Brooklyn-based plant designer Lisa Muñoz started gardening as a child alongside her grandparents in her home state of Texas. The name Leaf and June combines Lisa's nickname, Leaf, (she loves plants just a little) and her influential maternal grandmother's first name, June. She has worked for Sprout Home, a well-known and respected plant and floral shop in Brooklyn and has worked as Director of Hor

ticulture for The Sill, a boutique, online houseplant haven for New Yorkers - all of which planted the seed for the creation of Leaf and June. Her work includes plant design for residential and commercial spaces, editorial features, and events. More than a green thumb, Lisa's passion for visual design and business savvy is grounded in eight years of experience as an Animation, Motion Design and Visual Effects Producer for demanding clients including MoMA and Google. Unsurprisingly, she has been known to name her plants… usually after dear relatives and 70s Soul singers.
