New Zealand’s epic landscapes shift seamlessly from towering mountains to wild coastlines.

On the North Island, walk with a Māori guide through geothermal parks to take in volcanic craters and dramatic geysers.

Then feel time slow down amid the ochre vineyards of Hawke's Bay, New Zealand’s oldest wine-growing region. The sweet scents of pears and apples fills the air from February to May as the orchards brim with plump fruit. A private tasting at our favourite wine cellars here unveil their flavours.

As summer approaches in the Northern Hemisphere, our favourite destinations begin to fill with crowds. We recommend timing your trip in the quiet months that follow – when forests glow crimson and gold, and vineyards and rice fields flourish.

Morocco
Autumn in Morocco is an ideal time to get lost in the lively souks and artisan workshop of Marrakesh’s medina, as the temperature drops to a much more comfortable high of 28°C (82°F).
