Thank you to Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta and the Shinshinim Atlanta for joining us today on our Historic Five Points Tour! The crisp autumn weather was the perfect temperature to dive into Atlanta's past and its vibrant Jewish community. Good luck to the shinshinim on their whirlwind tour of service this year.

Learning something new every day!

Did you know that the first designated hitter in baseball was Jewish? AND a piece of local Jewish history in Atlanta?? Check out this fun read about Ron Blomberg and his trailblazing path in pinstripes 50 years ago.

The rain held off this morning, the sun burst through a heavy layer of mist, and it felt AMAZING to stretch our legs walking Atlanta's beautiful city scape on today's Historic Five Points tour.

We had some serious change-makers from Repair the World Atlanta and Shinshinim Atlanta learning about and engaging with the history and evolution of Atlanta and the role its Jewish community has played over the years.

Thank you for joining us and thanks to Amy Price for helping to make this event happen!
