The stunning Ansonia (Hotel), 1904, built in the Beaux Arts–style, designed by French architect Paul Duboy. Yes, it’s one of our many Parisian style apartment buildings on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. It was financed by W. E. D. Stokes to be one of the most prestigious hotel and residential buildings in NYC. For over a century, many well known artists have been known to reside in the Ansonia, including Gustav Mahler, Igor Stravinsky, Arturo Toscanini, Richard Dreyfus, Florenz Ziegfeld Jr., Enrico Caruso - and the list continues! Walk the streets of New York City and you may want to look up once in a while.

Let’s go to the Opera in NYC! Just because! Visiting The Met on a crisp clear evening at Lincoln Center. The Met Opera history goes back to 1883, but as the city grew north, almost everything followed. This is the new 14 story Met of 1966, it is the largest repertory opera house in the world seating almost 4,000. And the interior is just as glorious. Take in opera one evening! 🤍

Visiting the 9/11 Memorial, surrounded by 414 White Marsh Oak trees is this stunning, almost in full bloom Callery Pear tree. We call her the ‘Survivor Tree’. This 48 year old pear tree was the last living thing pulled from the burning wreckage of the World Trade Center. She is a rock star in our eyes.
