Throwback Thursday: Where Language Meets the Olympics 🌍🏅

Summer 2024 wasn’t just another summer—it was the Summer Olympics, and our classrooms felt like they were right in the heart of Paris! 🇫🇷✨

In these photos, you’ll see our brilliant ambassadors proudly presenting their sports projects.

But this was so much more than just a fun classroom activity—it was a full-on immersive experience connecting language learning, global cultures, and real-world excitement.

Each student chose a sport represented by athletes from their home countries. We didn’t just study vocabulary—we dove deep.

📚 Researching the rules, history, and key athletes.
🎥 Watching live Olympic events and analyzing interviews.
🌎 Sharing insights about their nation’s athletes, fostering pride and cross-cultural exchange.

And to top it all off?

We organized an Olympics of our own, using the Olympic-grade facilities at our host universities.

Ambassadors didn’t just learn about the Games—they lived them.

That’s the magic of immersive programs: bringing the world into the classroom and the classroom out into the world.
