Things I Wish I Knew Before Visiting Nashville✨🤠

1️⃣ Live music at most bars ends around 10-11 PM, and then the vibe shifts to a club with a DJ. This was a fun surprise—and a great break from country music for those who enjoy a mix of genres!

2️⃣ Broadway is walkable, but if you plan to explore beyond it—like The Gulch, Grand Ole Opry, Music Row, or East Nashville—you’ll need to drive, take an Uber, or use public transportation.

3️⃣ Nashville has an alcohol tax on top of already high drink prices. It’s an expensive city overall, and that’s coming from someone whose home base is New York... so plan your budget accordingly!

4️⃣ There are tons of fun group experiences like trolley tours, pedal taverns, party buses, and river cruises. If you’re traveling with friends, booking one of these is a great way to see the city and have a blast while doing it!

5️⃣ This one might be controversial... but you can see most of Nashville in one weekend. We had three full days and checked off everything on our bucket list! While there’s always more to do, you’ll leave feeling like you conquered a lot of the city.

Reflecting on 2024, I couldn’t resist sharing my favorite trip I planned last year—though it’s hard to pick just one!

This one was extra special, since I had the privilege of planning my own family’s getaway to an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana for 22 people, including aunts, uncles, cousins, and significant others.

From lounging by the pool and soaking up the sun on the beach, to snorkeling, golfing, and dining at every restaurant on the property, we made the most of every moment.

This destination was such a success that I booked it twice in 2024.
