We inform you that starting July 29, 2025, it is mandatory for travelers entering or leaving Ecuador with cash or declarable goods exceeding $10,000 or its equivalent in other currencies to complete the online Customs Registration Form (FRA).

This form must be completed at least three days prior to travel, through the Ecuadorian National Customs Service (SENAE) platform. Upon completion of the registration, a QR code will be generated that must be presented during immigration control. The form applies to passengers over 18 years of age or one representative per family group.

Electronic Travel Authorisations (ETAs) are being introduced worldwide for visitors to the UK who do not currently need a visa for short stays, or who do not already have a UK immigration status prior to travelling.
Eligible non-Europeans can apply in advance from 27 November 2024 and will need an ETA to travel from 8 January 2025.
Eligible Europeans can apply from 5 March 2025 and will need an ETA to travel from 2 April 2025.
Visitors can find out when they need an ETA to travel and can apply on GOV.UK
An ETA costs £10 and permits multiple journeys to the UK for stays of up to six months at a time over two years or until the holder’s passport expires – whichever is sooner.
