Switzerland has easily been my most requested destination this year, and honestly, I get it. It’s stunning and easy to fall in love with. It also comes with a lot of “wait, where do I even start?!!” energy once you start looking at where to stay.

So here are my top picks.

In Zermatt, I go with the Hotel Schweizerhof. You’re right in the heart of this car free Alpine village, so no worrying about parking or transfers once you’re there. It’s a short walk to the cogwheel train that takes you up to those Matterhorn views everyone’s after.

For Interlaken, I send clients to the Victoria-Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa. Always book a room on the Jungfrau side, the view alone is worth it. It’s a true grand hotel, and it makes the whole trip feel like an occasion instead of just a stop along the way.

And St. Moritz? Splurge on the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski. It’s been open since 1864, and it’s one of the world’s most famous Alpine resorts. The hotel even has its own natural mineral spring, so the spa is a whole experience on its own.

I didn’t pick these because they’re trendy. I picked them because I’ve seen how they actually work for the trip.

The group chat is where bachelorette planning goes to die. 💀

Fifty unread messages. Three different Pinterest boards. Everyone throwing out their own destination ideas, and no one seems to care where the bride to be wants to go.

Sound familiar?

This is one of the most common things I hear from brides and maids of honor. It’s not that nobody has ideas, it’s that too many opinions make it hard to actually get anywhere.

Here’s the thing, the bride should have the final say on the destination. The group’s job is to show up and celebrate her, no complaining. She picks the vibe, I help bring all the details together so the maid of honor can actually enjoy the trip too.

Nobody wants to be the one who brings up money, but somebody has to. 💸

Whether it’s a bachelor or bachelorette trip, the “who pays for what” conversation is one of the most common reasons group trips get awkward.

Here’s what usually works best:
• The guest of honor typically has a portion of their expenses covered. This could be travel and lodging or experiences and meals. But this should be talked about early and never assumed.
• Group activities and big ticket items get split evenly, and decided on before you book anything. I like to plan these trips with some flexibility. Everyone doesn’t have to participate in every activity or excursion. If it’s not your cup of tea or stretching your budget, no harm in sitting that one out!
• Individual costs like meals, drinks, and shopping stay on each person.

Setting this upfront takes the awkwardness out of it without singling anyone out or leaving anyone blindsided. And having someone outside the friend group handle this means no hard feelings and no judgement.

You’re the best man, now what?!

Bachelor parties deserve just as much planning as the bachelorette.

Most guys trips get thrown together at the last minute. Everyone is either throwing out different ideas and nothing sticks, or they say “I’m up for whatever” and it goes nowhere. Then it’s a month out and there’s still no plan.

This is exactly the kind of trip I love planning. Whether it’s a low key golfing trip, Formula 1 weekend, or a bigger blow out overseas, the goal is the same. You show up, the rest is handled.

Thinking about a Danube river cruise? Here’s a peek at what’s waiting at some of the ports. 🚢

Prague: Wander through a fairytale city with its gothic architecture, cobblestone lanes, and the iconic Charles Bridge, before you even set sail.

Wachau Valley: One of the most beautiful stretches of the entire cruise, with vineyard covered hillsides, medieval castles and storybook riverside villages.

Vienna: A city built for grandeur, think beautiful palaces, world class classical music, and centuries of imperial history around every corner.

Budapest: Home to the stunning Hungarian Parliament Building and the Szechenyi Spa, one of the oldest and largest hot spring bath palaces in Europe.

Every stop on a river cruise has options to fit your travel style, activity level, and how you want to pace your days.

Save this if a Danube cruise is on your travel wish list.

The real cost of planning your trip yourself isn’t just money. It’s time. 🕰️

Most people spend 15 to 30 hours researching a single trip. Comparing hotels, reading conflicting reviews, trying to figure out what’s actually included and what hidden fees will pop up once you get there.

And even after all that work and you finally book you’re missing out on the upgrades, resort credits, and perks that come from a trusted advisor relationship.

The result is usually a trip that was good. Maybe you’re left thinking “it was great, but...” instead of “that was everything I hoped for.”

You already work hard for your time off. It shouldn’t cost you more hours than the trip itself to plan.

Want to skip the research rabbit hole next time? Comment PLAN below and let’s chat.

Planning a trip to Beijing? Save this for your dining list. 🥢

Beijing Yan — This spot serves both traditional Beijing cuisine and Sichuan food. Try the handmade noodles, the crispy chili pepper fried spring chicken, and don't skip dessert.

Da D**g — Known for their Peking duck and widely recognized as one of the top spots for it in the city. Some of their locations hold a Michelin star individually.

F Bistronome — A French spot in Beijing's Central Business District with a striking view of the CCTV Tower, especially beautiful at night.

Beijing's food scene has so much more to offer than most people realize. Save this before your next trip.
