COVID-19 DELAY NOTICE: Hope everyone is staying safe out there and adhering to all the recommendations/requirements/enforcement's set on us so far. We know this is a scary confusing time for all of us but with everyone's help we'll get through this together.
Here at TnT Trash we are still operating but are far from normal operations. Due to all the "stay at homers" the amount of trash that is accumulating is increasing beyond expectations. We ask that you keep the following in mind so we can do our best to stay as close to normal operations as we can. Unfortunately, all routes will be unexpectedly delayed but our crews are working around the clock and even weekends.
1) Our crews are essential but are at a high risk when handling your trash. They are just as scared and worried for themselves and families as we all are. Please protect them by practicing social distancing or avoid any contact with them as possible. Help us keep them hydrated and safe by donating water, gloves or hand sanitizer by placing them on top of your can.
2) Due to the increased amount of accumulated trash. Routes will be shortened so trucks can make it to the landfill to continue the next day. We will need to be more restrictive on the amount of trash we can collect per household. You may be bored and have free time but please do not do your "spring" cleaning at this time. This will only add to an already overloaded situation and delays for remaining routes. If there is over excessive trash we may have to leave it until another day.
3) Bulk items we normally take may have to be a scheduled pickup for at charge bulk service.
4) Cut down on trash collected by utilizing your Recycling Service as much as possible. Charles County Recycling is still operating. https://www.charlescountymd.gov/services/environmental-resources/curbside-recycling
5) Lastly, Mr. Proctor cares for the animals. He would like everyone to watch out for the turtles crossing the road. 🐢 Under safe conditions please help them cross and keep them safe. ❤️😊
We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time.
Thank you!
