First trips in the books and what an incredible weekend. The weather was outstanding. Talk about perfect. The haddock catch was weak. We caught some real nice fish right on Jeffery's with some clam and deep water jogging.
But, it's the Red fish catch that was so surprising. Still going very strong and we had such beautiful fish all day . Only a couple smalls. All between 12-18 inches, well 17.25 in. Lol. But for that guest it was 18. Just huge Reds and non stop. Having an excellent mate onboard really helped and made the trips even better. Overall, an excellent start to the season.
