The two best teams in the 7th Grade division this spring were the 7 Blue and the 6 Blue Surf Dawgs. The 6's pulled off an upset win over the 7's just a week before the playoffs. In the finals, the 7's asserted their size and experience on the younger Dawgs, earned the W, and of course the championship. Congrats to both teams on a great season!

David Keasey, whose son Michael was a senior All-American midfielder last spring at Yale and former Sea King and Surf Dawg, was kind enough to share this interview with us. It is between Yale First Team All-American and Tewaaraton Finalist Ben Reeves and ESPN personality Paul Carcaterra. I think it offers its viewers keen insight into the process behind one of the college game’s finest and most hard-working players. His unusual path to a leadership role with one of the best teams in the sport has not been the typical journey most would expect.
