A little honesty from your travel agent….
Lately, my business has been growing, and I am incredibly grateful for that. ❤️ However, with being busier than ever, I've become more aware of how much time goes into every quote, itinerary, and recommendation I provide.
What many people don't realize is that I do not charge a planning fee. In fact, I don't get paid unless a client books and travels. I often spend hours researching destinations, resorts, hotels, tours, flights, and experiences because, let's be honest, not every hotel, itinerary, or tour is right for every traveler.
I take the time to learn what my clients want and carefully match them with options that fit their travel style, budget, and expectations. I don't just send a generic list of options—I do my best to ensure each recommendation is a good fit for the individual traveler.
When you book through me, you're also getting more than just a reservation. You have direct access to me before, during, and after your trip. If a flight is delayed, a hotel reservation has an issue, or something unexpected comes up, you have someone in your corner to help navigate the situation and advocate on your behalf.
So, when I spend that time researching, planning, and customizing a trip, only for it to be booked directly or through another source, it can be discouraging because that's time I can't get back and time that could have been spent helping clients who are ready to book.
I completely understand wanting to compare options, but if you ask me to create a quote for you, I kindly ask that you give me the opportunity to earn your business as well.
